What is Wear & Tear?
The definition of Wear & Tear is “the expected deterioration or performance of a part due to the cars age or mileage”
This naturally, and inevitably, occurs in normal use of your car and, when a part becomes faulty due to the mileage or age of the car, under the terms of car warranty it is usually considered as failure due to “Wear & Tear”.

All Protect4Sure Drive Elite warranties include cover of failure of insured parts due to Wear & Tear for cars up to 6yrs/60000 miles at time of claim.
There is no charge for cover of failure of insured parts due to Wear & Tear, this is included in your policy as standard
There is no waiting period, cover of failure of insured parts due to Wear & Tear is included from day one.
We never ask for a pre-inspection or health check to be carried out before a policy is purchased
The claim excess remains "zero" for claims where failure is due to Wear & Tear
Consumable and service items, such as brake pads, batteries, bulbs, wiper blades, tyres etc. fall outside the protection of a vehicle warranty and therefore are not covered
